What’s so great about Ceramic? A Lot!
When heated, Ceramic produces negative ions which seal the cuticle and repel humidity, leaving hair shiny. Some ‘other’ flat irons utilize aluminum plates with ceramic coating, and there isn’t always enough ceramic to produce the necessary ions to smooth the hair’s cuticle. FHI believes the more ceramic, the more infrared heat, the more infrared heat, the more even the distribution of heat and temperature control. Even heat equals smoother, shiny hair.
