Homemade Hair Refresher To Go

January 5, 2009

conditionersNeed a hair refresher on the go?  I have discovered a great new hair tip that I had to share with you all.  If you have curly or wavy hair and you have noticed throughout the day it loses its pizazz try this hair refresher.  Take your everyday conditioner, about 2 tbsp, and mix with about 6 ounces of water. Put in a spray bottle and shake up.  Whenever you feel that your hair is frizzing out or needs extra bounce spray on your hair and leave in.  You can use this on your kids as well. A low cost way of keeping your hair beautiful.  I love it!

Nice! But doesn’t the conditioner weigh curls down?

Hmm, I dont know about this. The water just might leave you hair more frizzy. Sounds like a good idea though.

I can attest to this working, i’ve done this and it worked wonders especially to achieve that ’2nd day hair’. To keep frizzies at bay, add a light oil or a frizz reducing product to the mix.

I wouldnt use this. Personally, because my hair frizzes when it touches water then starts to dry. I use a mixture of conditioner, olive oil, lavender oil, water and a few squirts of hairspray. I keep a little bottle in my locker for the little frizzies i get throughout the day.
