Who doesn’t want a huge assortment of miracle hair products? Unfortunately, for most people, budget is the only thing standing in the way of perfect hair. Not anymore! These are some of our favorite frizz busting recipes and chances are, you already have all of the ingredients in your kitchen!

.) Olive Oil and Avocado Deep Conditioning Masque: This is guaranteed to be one of the best deep conditioners you will ever use! Although it does not have the most pleasant smell, it is definitely worth doing at least twice a month! Taking 1 cup olive oil (or mayonnaise if you like a thicker conditioner consistency) and 1/2-1 whole avocado. Mash it up and mix them together then apply. I recommend applying this to freshly washed wet hair andsitting from 10-30 minutes with a shower cap (and heat if available). You will LOVE your hair after this!

.) Coconut Oil Hot Oil Treatment: This treatment is super easy and crazy affordable! It can be done using extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. I prefer using coconut oil because it smells phenomenal! Depending on the length, texture, and thickness of your hair, pour 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of coconut oil in a microwave safe mug and heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. Apply the hot oil directly on to your strands (avoiding the scalp as much as possible, as it gets pretty hot) and sit with a shower cap for 30 minutes. Wash and style as usual. Voila! Crazy shiny, frizz-free hair!

.) Carbonated Water: Carbonated water works similarly to a neutralizer after a perm or relaxer. Our hairs natural pH can become imbalanced extremely quickly with minimal hair coloring and heat styling. The best way to naturally neutralize your hair is to do a carbonated water rinse. The naturally low pH of HCO3 will bring your hair’s pH right back to a healthy level. Simply bring your carbonated bottle of water with you during your next shampoo. After shampooing, rinse with regular tap water. Once the water runs clear, pour the carbonated water into your hair. I recommend applying this in 2 steps to assure you get every strand covered. Let sit for 1-2 minutes and do a quick rinse. Style as usual!

.) Olive Oil and Egg White Treatment: Eggs are jam packed with all of the essential amino acids thats our hair needs in raw form. Separate 1 egg, discarding the yolk. Combine egg whites and 1/4 cup olive oil, whisk lightly. Apply mixture directly to hair with a shower cap. Leave on for 15-30 minutes. Rinse dry and enjoy your seriously refreshed cuticles and frizz free hair!

.) Beer: Talk about hair cocktails, right? Believe it or not, beer is full of nutrients that are vital to hair health, thus eliminating frizz. For a treatment: apply beer directly to wet hair, let sit for 2-5 minutes, rinse and style. As a daily leave-in, transfer a bottle of beer to a spray bottle. Lightly spray 2-3 sprays all over hair and brush through. Apply your other daily products and once dried, the beer smell will dissipate and leave your hair shiny and frizz free!

.) Apple Cinder Vinegar Rinse: This works with your hairs pH the same way as carbonated water rinses do, and are applied the same way! Take equal parts ACV and water, apply to freshly rinsed shampooed hair. Let sit for 2-3 minutes and rinse lightly. The added bonus that ACV has above carbonated water — it kills the unwanted bacteria on our scalps that could lead to dry, itchy, dandruffy scalps. Sounds like a win to me!
